Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Manage work orders and schedules for preventive maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Act as a technical representative for facilities projects, providing expertise and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Schedule training and in-service programs for maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance operations and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
