Key Role: Inclusion Support Coordinator

At the forefront of inclusive education, this pivotal role ensures every child's growth and development. By championing inclusive practices, you'll empower children of diverse abilities to participate fully, learn, and thrive.

Collaborating with dedicated teams, families, and external partners, you'll develop strategies that make a lasting impact on children's lives. This includes:

  • Designing and delivering tailored support plans that cater to children's unique needs.
  • Championing inclusive education by developing strategies that support children with diverse needs - developmental, medical, and cultural.
  • Leading inclusive planning by creating Strategic Inclusion Plans (SIPs) and ensuring children's voices guide program design.
  • Providing hands-on support through service visits, enrolment assistance, behaviour guidance, and implementation of SIPs.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Primary or Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs in education or care settings, ideally within OSHC.
  • A strong understanding of inclusive practice, funding models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, team-focused approach.
  • The ability to write and implement Strategic Inclusion Plans, with a strong commitment to equity, confidentiality, and child safety.
