Customer Support Specialist: Empathetic Claims Resolution

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Chandler Macleod. As a key member of our claims resolution unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of complex claims.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality customer service via inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Manage claims efficiently, including Death, TPD, TI, IP, and PI, ensuring seamless communication and resolution with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to drive claims resolution and improve process efficiency.
- Assist with family law enquiries, financial hardship applications, and claims triaging, applying your expertise to ensure accurate and timely resolutions.
- Maintain precise records and manage correspondence, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team success by driving collaboration and continuous learning, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
About You
- Prior experience as a Claim Administrator, preferably in superannuation or a similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines, maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong understanding of software applications.
- RG 146 compliance (or willingness to undertake study), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations empathetically and maintain confidentiality.
