Payroll Systems Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our team as a Payroll Systems Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to transition into a more analytical-driven HRIS/payroll systems role.

About the Role:

This role will involve supporting payroll operations, driving data accuracy and systems improvements, and maintaining HRIS transactions. You will be responsible for monitoring system interfaces, ensuring employee records are complete and consistent, and preparing and reviewing leave accrual reports. Additionally, you will assist with month-end and year-end activities, onboard new starters, and ensure legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll and act as a backup during pay runs
  • Maintain HRIS transactions and ensure data accuracy across systems
  • Monitor system interfaces and ensure employee records are complete and consistent
  • Prepare and review leave accrual reports and assist with adjustments
  • Compile and deliver scheduled and ad hoc people reports
  • Support payroll team with month-end and year-end activities
  • Assist with onboarding, new starter processing, and compliance checks
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong end-to-end payroll experience, a good understanding of payroll awards and agreements, and interest in systems, data analysis, and process improvement. Experience with ADP Payforce, Kronos, and/or Oracle would be an advantage. You must also have excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
