Job Title: Logistics Flow Manager

Job Description:

The Logistics Flow Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials within our organization. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential bottlenecks, optimize inventory levels, and streamline supply chain processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Optimization: Analyze sales forecasts, shelf-life, and supply lead times to determine optimal inventory sizing.
  • Supply Chain Management: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, meeting cost targets, expiry deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, alert relevant departments of potential shortages or over-storage, and manage replenishments accordingly.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine and organize replenishment of orders for local warehouses, optimizing flows and costs.
  • Freight Management: Liaise with freight forwarders and customs clearance departments for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare documentation for export shipments, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Project Management: Participate in cross-functional project teams to develop and implement secondary warehouse projects, optimizing freight routes and costs.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels in new warehouses, ensuring adequate stock levels and performing regular stocktakes.
  • Administrative Support: Assist sales administration and warehouse teams with tasks as required, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
