About the Opportunity

This role provides advanced midwifery care and intervention to pregnant individuals and families, aligning with the scope of practice for an Endorsed Midwife.

Responsibilities involve utilising resources effectively within a Midwifery Group Practice setting.

Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical experience, knowledge, and leadership in midwifery care across the continuum
  • Well-developed clinical problem-solving skills, including conceptual and analytical ability
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including negotiation
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts, including legislative obligations
  • Experience in quality improvement and its practical application in meeting patient needs and strategic development
  • Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in areas such as Equal Opportunity, Disability Services, and Work Health and Safety, impacting employment, people management, and service delivery
