Job Overview:
">We are seeking a compassionate and spiritually mature individual to provide person-centred spiritual and pastoral care to residents, families, staff, and volunteers in our aged care facilities located in Brookton and York.
">About the Role:
">This role provides spiritual and pastoral support to those we serve, regardless of cultural background, faith tradition, or beliefs. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality care that is respectful and inclusive of all individuals.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide spiritual and pastoral care to residents, families, staff, and volunteers
">- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
">- Develop and maintain relationships with local churches and community groups
">Requirements:
">- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy/pastoral care or a related field
">- Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
">- Active involvement in a local church and recommendation from a pastor/minister
">- Experience in chaplaincy or pastoral care, preferably in an aged care setting
