About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Property and Procurement at Sacred Heart Mission. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and expansion of our property and procurement activities, in support of our Strategy 2030 goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all SHM properties and facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and welcoming environments for everyone.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure efficient deployment of financial resources.
  • Develop and implement sustainability practices, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Provide direct leadership and guidance to a small team, overseeing facilities, reception, and administration.
  • Influence across the organisation to drive improvements and support the achievement of our Strategy 2030 goals.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, project management, or a similar field.
  • Experience in property and procurement, including managing projects, contracts, and operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to support and manage a team.
  • Commitment to a person-centered, strengths-based, and culturally responsive approach in your work.
