Team Leadership OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team and take on the leadership role for a high-performing team of Rehabilitation Consultants. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in guiding and developing your team members to achieve exceptional results.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading regular team meetings, conducting one-on-one catch-ups, reviewing files collaboratively, exploring psychological topics, facilitating continuous learning initiatives, reviewing productivity, motivating the team to reach targets, and effectively managing escalations.

  • Leading Regular Team Meetings:

    As a Team Leader, you will lead regular team meetings to foster open discussion, encourage collaboration, and drive results. You will create a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes equality.

  • Conducting One-on-One Catch-Ups:

    You will conduct regular one-on-one catch-ups with team members to discuss day-to-day topics, short-term, and long-term goals. This will help you understand their needs, provide support, and identify areas for development.

  • Reviewing Files Collaboratively:

    Together with your team members, you will review files to identify effective strategies, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your expertise and guidance will enable the team to make informed decisions and drive business outcomes.

  • Exploring Psychological Topics:

    As a Team Leader, you will explore psychological topics with your team to encourage collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills. You will facilitate workshops, training sessions, and coaching to equip your team with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.

  • Facilitating Continuous Learning Initiatives:

    You will design and deliver continuous learning initiatives to upskill and reskill your team members. This will enable them to stay ahead of industry trends, adapt to new technologies, and develop essential skills for career advancement.

  • Reviewing Productivity:

    Regularly, you will review productivity metrics to ensure the team is meeting its targets. You will analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to drive better outcomes.

  • Motivating the Team:

    As a Team Leader, you will motivate the team to reach targets by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and recognizing achievements. You will celebrate successes, acknowledge milestones, and foster a sense of belonging within the team.

  • Effective Escalation Management:

    You will manage escalations effectively by escalating issues promptly, resolving conflicts, and communicating regularly with stakeholders. Your expertise and professionalism will ensure seamless issue resolution and maintain a positive reputation for our organization.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Full registration with AHPRA, ASORC, or RCAA;
  • Solid experience as a Rehabilitation Consultant managing psychological injuries;
  • Either experience in a Team Leader-type role or currently a Rehabilitation Consultant with a strong desire to step up to a Team Leader;
  • A car and valid driver's license;
  • A police check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
