The role exists to drive exceptional outcomes with technology by working closely with teams and leaders, enabling great planning, continually improving our ways of working, and uplifting delivery outcomes.
This senior manager will have the chance to work with a breadth of teams to drive real results, making a difference at-scale. Exposure to stakeholders includes teams creating amazing outcomes across the Bank and senior leaders within Technology. Our team proactively seeks internal and external insights to challenge our thinking, putting learnings into practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage modern delivery practices along with local and global insights to challenge what is possible with exceptional delivery and its enabling ways.
- Engage with multiple teams to improve delivery across their area, including detailed next steps and tracking through to delivery.
- Contribute to scaling ideas that can enhance delivery across Technology.
- Synthesize and analyze delivery-related data across performance and the Technology portfolio, driving impactful insight and challenging the work done.
- Support thought leadership on opportunities to improve our ways of working across Technology.
- Drive sharing of good practices and learnings across Technology.
- Contribute to broader teams' outcomes, including supporting quarterly planning cycles across Technology.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge with modern delivery practices, including agile, applied at-scale.
- Demonstratable experience working with teams in a consultative way to identify, frame, and document opportunities, then implementing them.
- Desirable: Transformation or delivering strategic initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, influencing others effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Capacity to synthesize complex data sets, identifying key insights.
- Sound data visualization ability, presenting insights clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organization, and planning skills.
- Demonstratable experience with data analytics tools.
- Understanding of technology and banking, relating to customer outcomes.
- Agile mindset in a changing environment, with a desire for continued learning.
