Care Leadership Position

The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional care to residents, fostering an environment that supports their well-being and dignity. To achieve this, the Clinical Nurse Leader must possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate resident care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to each resident, ensuring their unique needs are met and respected.
  • Collaborate with new graduates and oversee clinical placements, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, incorporating their preferences and goals.
  • Contribute to the assessment and planning of care for residents with complex needs, utilizing a person-centered approach.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Lead case conferences to ensure person-centered care, promoting open communication and coordination among team members.
  • Promote strong clinical governance across the organization, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision for nurses and care staff, empowering them to deliver exceptional care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • RN experience in aged care, with a strong background in patient-centered care.
  • Post Basic or Post Graduate experience, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in gerontological nursing.
  • Evidence of participation in education and clinical skills updates, showcasing a commitment to professional development.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to build relationships and foster a positive work environment.
  • Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
