We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our engineering team in delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process by providing clients with input on project schedules and options.
  • Perform site visits for renovation/addition projects to gather information.
  • Collaborate with designers and other disciplines to prepare construction drawings and calculations.
  • Conduct quality control review analyses to ensure final documents meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary work and manage reviews/approvals between disciplines and agencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Higher Ed, Municipal, K-12, and Commercial projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or ability to obtain PE within 6 months.
