Engineering Solutions Expert

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and contribute to client success.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead proposal process by providing clients with input on design options, project schedules, and code review.
  • Perform site visits for information gathering on existing conditions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and designers to prepare construction drawings and calculations within AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Conduct quality control review analyses to ensure final documents exceed client expectations.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews and manage approvals between disciplines and agencies.
  • Continue involvement through the construction process including submittal review, RFI response, field visits, and closeout documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience on Higher Ed, Municipal, K-12, and Commercial projects.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of North Carolina or ability to obtain PE in North Carolina within 6 months.
