We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. With 10+ years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for spearheading the proposal process, conducting site visits, collaborating with project managers and designers, and coordinating with other disciplines to prepare construction drawings and calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the proposal process by providing clients with expert input on design options, project schedules, and code review.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to existing facilities for renovation/addition projects to gather information on existing conditions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and designers, as well as other disciplines, to develop and finalize construction drawings and calculations using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Perform quality control review analyses to ensure final documents and specifications meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary coordination and manage final reviews/approvals between disciplines and agencies, responding to comments and concerns.
  • Maintain involvement throughout the construction process, including submittal review, RFI response, field visits, and closeout documentation.
