Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and skills in mechanical design, including HVAC system design, building services coordination, and construction drawings.
  • Responsibilities will include leading the proposal process, performing site visits, working with project managers and designers, and collaborating with other disciplines to prepare construction drawings and calculations.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for quality control review analyses, interdisciplinary coordination, and managing final reviews/approvals between disciplines and agencies.

Key Skills:

  • Perform full HVAC system design and sizing, including load calculations and equipment selection.
  • Coordinate and integrate HVAC systems with other building services to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance.
  • Produce HVAC design drawing packages, including plans, schedules, construction details, specifications, and sequences of operation.
