Job Summary

This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of coal from mine to market. The Logistics Scheduler will ensure efficient scheduling, compliance with contractual obligations, and timely delivery to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years of working experience. They will possess strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to build consultative relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly coal logistics schedules
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, rail operators, and port terminals to ensure effective coordination and alignment of movements with production and sales commitments
  • Monitor coal flows to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met
  • Respond to logistical changes and disruptions, reforecasting and adapting schedules as required
  • Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to management and customers
Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role

Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
