Job Overview

The role of Logistics Scheduler is pivotal in coordinating the movement of coal from mine to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for coal logistics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, rail operators, and port terminals to ensure effective coordination and alignment of movements with production and sales commitments.
  • Monitor coal flows to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met.
  • Respond to logistical changes and disruptions by reforecasting and adapting schedules as required.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to management and end customers.
Accountabilities
  • Process administrative support to integrated supply chain schedules.
  • Maintain product movement records using SAP supply chain process.
  • Reconcile supply chain vendors, project vendors, and general invoices associated with Mt Arthur's Integrated Operations.
  • Manage vessel Laytime calculations in accordance with customer contracts.

This position requires a high level of autonomy and ability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide regular updates to management and end customers.
