Logistics Coordinator Role

This pivotal role in coordinating the movement of coal from mine to market is a strategic position that requires effective scheduling, compliance with contractual obligations, and timely delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly coal logistics schedules, maintaining alignment with production and sales commitments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, rail operators, and port terminals for effective coordination and management of movements.
  • Monitor coal flows to ensure adherence to contractual and operational requirements.
  • Respond to logistical changes and disruptions by adapting schedules as required.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to management and customers.
Additional Tasks:
  • Support integrated supply chain schedules and maintain product movement records using SAP supply chain processes.
  • Process and reconcile supply chain vendors, project vendors, and invoices associated with operations.
  • Manage vessel laytime calculations in accordance with customer contracts.
