Contract Administrator Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team in drafting and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating legally binding contracts between parties
  • Liaising with external legal practitioners and other departments to ensure deadlines and contract requirements are met
  • Undertaking thorough contract analysis and providing strategic advice to the business
  • Negotiating contracts with other companies or individuals according to legislative guidelines
  • Monitoring and advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts

The successful candidate will work closely with management to identify areas where contracts can be improved or modified. Regular day-to-day activities for a Contracts Administrator include updating contract management software, arranging contracts with suppliers, customers or other external parties, sourcing and reviewing documentation according to business needs, and drafting or revising legal agreements per business requirements.

Requirements:
  • A minimum diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years full-time experience in contract administration
  • A strong understanding of contract law and legal requirements
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
