First Peoples Program Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our First Peoples Program team as a Program Officer. This is a unique opportunity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and organisations to self-determine their own solutions, exercise their rights, and have a strong voice in decisions that affect their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the central contact, communication, and administrative management point for the Unit.
- Support the delivery of gatherings and events, including meetings, logistics, financial and administrative functions, community and participant liaison.
- Assist the team with the coordination and upkeep of communications, including website, applications, and other communications as needed.
- Strengthen stakeholders relationships internal and external.
- A base salary of $76,548 plus superannuation, superior leave benefits, and access to a generous non-for-profit salary packaging program.
