The OpportunityHeliMods is seeking an experienced Certification Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience who has a passion for technology and innovation. This position involves conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure they meet all applicable regulations and safety requirements.
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality at HeliMods.
As a successful candidate, you will work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build new organizational capability, and be responsible within your team for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build new organizational capability, and deliver high-quality results against challenging project targets.
- Learn from internationally experienced engineers, lead up-and-coming talent, and drive the best available technology in a collaborative and innovative culture.

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline, particularly interested in structures, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
- 3-5 years of relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of all legislation and regulations, particularly FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.
- Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21 strongly desirable.
- Ideal candidate will have held a design approval authorization under a CASA 21.J approved design organization or similar.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred).
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred).
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive reviews of aircraft designs, systems, and components to assess compliance.

- Experience collaborating with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions.

Inherent Requirements- Does not have an existing criminal conviction.
- Must meet minimum criteria as set out in CASA Part 21 MOS to be able to be authorized to carry out design activities.
- Due to the nature and privilege of information, and in accordance with Australian Standards for Workforce Screening (ISO, it is an inherent requirement that a security clearance and police check are obtained prior to employment.
