We are currently seeking experienced aero, space, mechanical, and mechatronic engineers to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build new organisational capability, and be responsible for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop digital and physical prototypes using CAD, augmented reality, and 3D printing.
- Create CAD, CAM, and FEA of products and their assemblies before release to manufacture and certification.
- Assist others within the team on their design developments to ensure the whole team experiences success.
- Manage product and project risks through active mitigations and coordinated engineering efforts.
- Conduct research on technical methods to tackle difficult engineering challenges, or on automated systems to increase quality and productivity.
- Work with the onsite production team to oversee one of your designs through the manufacturing process, followed by 3D scanning verification.
- Support fast turn-around design approvals to allow new products to be integrated across fleets.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in aero, space, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering.
- 3-5 years relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations, standards, and best practices in all aspects of their field of expertise.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred).
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with prototyping and conceptual design.
