The OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Certification Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience to join our dynamic team.
This role involves conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive reviews of aircraft designs, systems, and components to assess compliance.
- Collaborate with design engineers and stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
- Work with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) and Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred).
- Deliver outstanding work with minimum guidance, managing time and priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Provide sound, well-considered technical input, thrive under pressure, and expect a lot of yourself.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of legislation and regulations, particularly FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.
- Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21 strongly desirable.
- Ideal candidate will have held a design approval authorisation under a CASA 21.J approved design organisation or similar.
