The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Certification Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, who is passionate about technology and innovation.
This role involves conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build new organisational capability, and be responsible for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of aircraft designs, systems, and components to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to achieve compliance and maintain the highest levels of safety and quality.
- Work on exciting new products for our civil and military clients, build new organisational capability, and be responsible for timely, high-quality delivery against challenging project targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all legislation and regulations, in particular FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) and Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred) is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly interested in structures, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
- 3-5 years of relevant aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering industry experience.
- Strong working knowledge of all legislation and regulations, in particular FAR/CS Parts 23, 25, 27, and 29.
- Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21 is strongly desirable.
- Ideal candidate will have held a design approval authorisation under a CASA 21.J approved design organisation or similar.
