Retail Claims Consultant

As a Retail Claims Consultant, you will have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of retail income protection, trauma, and total & permanent disability claims with opportunities to broaden your expertise into other areas of life insurance claims.

  • Oversee the entire claims process, reviewing policies, determining cover type and validity, claim eligibility, and quantum of insured benefit.
  • Develop tailored management strategies for each claim and engage external vendors to act on our behalf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess complex information, interpret policy terms, and make fair decisions on claim outcomes.
  • Review documents, medical reports, and policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve complicated cases, find practical solutions, and maintain high standards of service.
  • Communicate effectively with claimants, medical professionals, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple claims and deadlines efficiently, ensuring timely progression and resolution of cases.
