As a Claims Portfolio Manager, you'll play a vital role in assessing and managing a portfolio of Retail Income Protection claims. You'll have the opportunity to expand your skills into other areas of Life Insurance Claims, such as Total Permanent Disability, Trauma, and Terminal Illness.
You'll work autonomously to conduct over-the-phone claim assessments, managing complex claims with a thorough understanding of relevant legislations and guidelines. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will be essential in settling cases within your limits of authority.
- Experience within a claims assessor role, ideally managing Retail Life Insurance claims.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Sound knowledge/training in medical terminology or an allied health/medical based course.
