Empowering individuals to achieve their employment goals requires a unique set of skills and expertise. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in helping people overcome career challenges and develop the skills needed to succeed.
About the RoleThis position involves providing one-to-one coaching sessions to participants to assess their career needs and create personalized action plans. You will conduct career assessments to identify strengths, interests, and values that guide employment goals.
Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with community organizations to create opportunities for participants. Additionally, you will assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
You will be required to refer participants to relevant services to increase long-term employment outcomes. Ensuring compliance requirements are met is also a key aspect of this role.
About the Successful CandidateWe are seeking an autonomous, enthusiastic, and empathetic individual who is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. The successful candidate will have experience in administration, strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and outlined KPI targets, and the ability to work in an agile environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in customer service, client-facing, or administrative roles. Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve outcomes are essential.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written skills, are required. Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to identify innovative solutions to problems, are also necessary.
The ability to develop relationships with employers and stakeholders is crucial. Excellent computer skills are also expected.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check. They must be eligible to work in Australia and possess additional skills such as relationship building and conflict resolution.
