Warehouse Operational Lead

The Warehouse Operational Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, PIFOT, and operational profitability to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate inbound, rework, and dispatch activities to ensure timely customer orders and accurate goods handover.
  • Lead key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory accuracy, inbound freight timeliness, labour costs, and client responses.

Requirements:

  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Knowledge and experience of LEAN management principles to improve operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of dangerous goods handling, with a licence or willingness to attain one preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Personal accountability and leadership of KPIs to drive business results.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High level of customer service skills to maintain strong relationships.

Desirable Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or 10+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Skill set covering receiving, dispatch, reworks, and inventory management.
  • Frequent interaction with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
