Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled administrative professional to join our team as a Patient Services Officer.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care and support services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless clinic operations
  • Book and confirm patient appointments and consultations
  • Manage referrals, administer bookings, and maintain accurate records
  • Process billing and receipting at appointment time
  • Adapt to changing priorities and environments
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability in an administrative role within a busy, customer-focused environment
  • Medical experience preferred but not essential
  • Positive can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms
  • Collaborative approach in working with the Administration team and other internal customers
