  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver assessments and counselling services to individuals who have experienced a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances.
    • Conduct thorough assessments to guide clients toward their new career paths.
    • Collaborate with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
    • Identify barriers to Return to Work (RTW) and design, implement, and monitor programs to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.
    • Visit workplaces to understand the challenges faced by injured and ill workers and educate employers on the health benefits of good work practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: A tertiary degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology is required. A Master's Degree in one of these fields is also an advantage.
  • Registration: Registration with AHPRA, AASW, or ASORC is essential.
  • Skills and Qualities:
    • Strong communication and report writing skills.
    • Client-centred approach.
    • Pride yourself on strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans.
