Learning Development Specialist Role Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the planning, coordination, and evaluation of training activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong customer focus, proven experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, or Training Facilitator.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To design and deliver in-house training programs including inductions and other required courses.
  2. Coordinate multiple training events in corporate and community settings.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure effective training outcomes.
  4. Prepare training materials and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office tools.

Key Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Training, Business, or Human Resources Management or minimum two years' experience in a related role.
  • Proven experience organizing and coordinating multiple training events, including design and delivery of in-house training.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Desirable: experience in a Local Government context and/or working in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities high cross-cultural awareness.
