We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Design Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of transportation related design projects developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction. Key responsibilities include roadway geometric design, production of plans, writing of technical reports and documents, and supervision of engineers, designers, and technicians.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college. A minimum of 10 years of post-licensure engineering experience in transportation design is also required. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer, as well as MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Primary Functions
Primary functions of this position include:
- Developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction.
- Performing process design of multi-discipline transportation engineering projects.
- Providing technical expertise to ensure compliance with design intent, project scope, and state and federal design criteria and standards.
