Civil Engineer Cadetship

This entry-level position provides valuable experience across infrastructure and civil works.

About The Opportunity

You will build on your studies by undertaking a two-year cadet program in Civil Engineering, supporting varying engineering teams. You will assist with the investigation, planning, design and delivery of public infrastructure while gaining practical experience and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake rotations through different teams/departments (e.g. traffic infrastructure, catchment and drainage, subdivision and development).
  • Assist with the investigation, planning, design and delivery of public infrastructure projects.
  • Gain practical experience and training in civil engineering.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Contemporary knowledge of civil engineering areas.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and continuously improve.
  • A current Class C driver's licence.
Benefits

This cadet position is a temporary full-time role (two-year contract) with a salary range of up to $58,494.80 per year plus 12% superannuation. One day per week paid study leave is provided.
