Our company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Production Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient extraction of gold from underground mining operations.

The Senior Production Engineer will facilitate the optimal extraction of gold by developing and implementing weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans in line with operational targets. They will also supervise the stope design process and subsequent drill and blast plans to maximize recovery and minimize dilution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing production plans to meet operational targets.
  • Supervising the stope design process and drill and blast plans.
  • Recording mine information to ensure safe and economic target delivery.
  • Reconciling mined plan versus actual to identify improvement areas.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related discipline, as well as supervisory or management training. They should also hold a WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency and have substantial underground engineering experience, preferably in gold mining.
