Job Opportunity:

The position requires a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and guidance on electrical power systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and/or supervise electrical calculations, power system studies, protection reports, and arc flash analysis according to client requirements.
  • Lead the formulation of engineering concepts and design throughout all project phases and present these to management and clients.
  • Optimize system design to meet production targets while minimizing costs.
  • Provide engineering input to the specification, tender, evaluation, and award of complex electrical material and service requisitions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in high voltage system specification and design, low voltage system specification and design, large rotating synchronous machines, industrial power systems study and analysis, or start-up, field engineering, or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, or process plants.
  • Familiarity with industry and regulatory standards such as MSHA, OSHA, ISO, DIN, AS/NZS, AS, IEC, ANSI, etc.
  • Ability to develop procedures and design criteria/guides and demonstrated knowledge of computer aided engineering (CAE) tools to perform calculations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a professional license in an appropriate discipline from a recognized licensing board.

This is a mid-senior level role requiring a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering and relevant work experience.

The position offers part-time telework with at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project site.
