The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Director in the Australian Energy Sector to join our team. This is a newly created role that offers a significant impact in a priority growth market. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for:
- Developing a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Energy Sector, including transmission, renewables, energy transition, and sustainable fuels.
- Establishing a sales pipeline that aligns with our strategic goals, regularly reviewing and updating the pipeline to reflect changing market conditions and priorities.
- Working closely with the marketing team to enhance the organization's brand presence within the Energy sector, leveraging marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns to position Beca as a leader in the market.
- Achieving sales targets, ensuring opportunities are turned into commercial outcomes for business lines, and being involved in regularly tracking progress against sales plans and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve sales targets and strategic goals.
About You
You will have deep market knowledge and extensive industry connections within the Energy sector, with a strong understanding of market dynamics. You will have a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. You will work collaboratively across the business and primarily interface with Power and Industrial market leaders and teams to align on market and capability development strategies.
