The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Director in the Australian Energy Sector to join our team. This is a newly created role that offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in a priority growth market.
As Market Director, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for:
- Developing a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Energy Sector, including transmission, renewables, energy transition, and sustainable fuels.
- Establishing a sales pipeline that aligns with our strategic goals, regularly reviewing and updating the pipeline to reflect changing market conditions and priorities.
- Working closely with the marketing team to enhance our brand presence within the Energy sector, leveraging marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and targeted campaigns to position Beca as a leader in the market.
- Achieving sales targets, ensuring opportunities are turned into commercial outcomes for business lines, and tracking progress against sales plans to adjust strategies as needed.
About You
You will have deep market knowledge and extensive industry connections within the Energy sector, with a strong understanding of market dynamics. You will have proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
You will work collaboratively across the business, primarily interfacing with Power and Industrial market leaders and teams to align on market and capability development strategies.
