Mental Health First Aid Trainer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time trainer to deliver non-accredited Mental Health First Aid training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The successful applicant will be certified in Mental Health First Aid or have the ability to become certified, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting delivery of onboarding to community-controlled suicide prevention networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver non-accredited Mental Health First Aid training
  • To work collaboratively with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
  • To demonstrate understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks

Requirements:

  • Certification in Mental Health First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
