Receivables and Risk Controller

B & E Foods, a leading wholesale company in the food industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receivables and Risk Controller to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in the efficient management of our receivables and minimizing financial risk within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit control, and collections, to ensure timely payments and accurate records.
  • Proactively identify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues to maintain a smooth payment process and minimize financial risks.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, perform credit checks, and analyze creditworthiness to assess and mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer disputes or discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
  • Conduct regular analysis of receivable data to identify trends, assess credit risks, and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of financial issues.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on receivables performance, cash flow, and risk management for senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Receivables or Credit Controller in a wholesale or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
