This role plays a crucial part in the efficient management of our receivables and minimizing financial risk within the organization.

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong understanding of financial principles, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit control, and collections.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues to maintain a smooth payment process.
  • Monitor customer credit limits, perform credit checks, and analyze creditworthiness to minimize financial risks.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any customer disputes or discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
  • Conduct regular analysis of receivable data to identify trends, assess credit risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Receivables or Credit Controller in a wholesale or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
