Reliability and Maintenance Strategy Development Engineer

Optimised Maintenance is a leading provider of structured maintenance improvement services, specialising in risk management, efficiency development, and maintenance effectiveness. We are currently seeking two reliability/defect elimination engineers to work with our maintenance specialists in building LOA strategies for fixed infrastructure and product handling/yard machines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement reliability engineering strategies to improve maintenance effectiveness and reduce risk.
- Work with material handling equipment, particularly processing equipment and control systems, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Forecast maintenance schedules, methods, and equipment requirements to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Apply a risk-based engineering approach to modification projects to ensure safe and efficient outcomes.
- Utilise Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning software to streamline maintenance processes.
- Develop and maintain maintenance templates, plans, and schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to clients to improve their maintenance capabilities and reduce costs.
- Formal engineering qualifications, such as CPEng or RPEQ.
- At least 5 years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting principles, with the ability to link process improvement with business objectives.
