Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Standards Specialist to work with our maintenance specialists and reliability engineers in building LOA strategies for fixed infrastructure and product handling/yard machines. The role is based in Adelaide and will require some travel.
Key Responsibilities- Proven experience in Standards Engineering, specifically statutorily managed equipment including pressure vessels, electrical, fluid retaining structures, corrosive, etc.
- Worked with material handling equipment, in particular processing equipment and control systems.
- Experience in copper processing.
- Have worked with, critiqued, and improved maintenance templates, plans, and reviewed schedules.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, linking process improvement with business objectives (e.g., cost reduction, availability or reliability improvement, safety improvement rate improvement).
- Application of a risk-based engineering approach to modification projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point.
- Familiarity with the use and development of CMMS, building equipment profiles, and uploading strategies for operational use.
- Formal engineering qualifications.
- CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in a discipline engineering role, including design engineering, construction, and audit.
- General requirements to work in mining in South Australia.
- A consultant background with client-facing experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
