Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionics Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Rex Group Engineering in Adelaide. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Line Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Participate in aircraft recovery operations when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence with type ratings.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and ability to perform complex maintenance tasks under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAAB 340 endorsed Type Licence.
  • Experience working on transport category aircraft.
  • Background in airline operations.
  • Lower Group aircraft ratings.
  • Certificate 4 in training and assessment.
