The Role
The leader ensures that the dementia support service is tailored to individual client needs and meets key performance indicators.
This role requires strong leadership skills, ability to work as part of an integrated team, and commitment to empowering and supporting staff members.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team across up to three locations, focusing on the dementia program, in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Develop a culture of empowerment, mentorship and support for the team, prioritising their wellbeing and safety.
- Oversee service delivery within the case management framework to ensure high quality, reducing the impact of behaviours on people with dementia, their carers and staff.
- Collaborate with other leaders to meet broader program needs and contribute to program deliverables.
- Ensure timely referral allocation to appropriate staff in line with KPIs.
- Report regularly to the regional manager on staff performance, service quality and operational issues.
