Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator

Introduction:

Civil concrete products manufacturer seeks a motivated individual to fill the role of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator. The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, flexible working arrangements and be part of National WHS team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead HSE activities and facilitate a safe workplace culture at three branches - Penrith, Smithfield & Warnervale. Develop, implement and review SOPs, SWMSs, policies, procedures and supporting systems ensuring all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards are met. Advise management on HSE matters and actively participate in problem solving and implementation of solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in OHS/WHS desirable
  • Previous HSE experience in manufacturing environment advantageous
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills essential
  • Ability to work through change valued highly
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to deadlines essential

Other Opportunities:

Desired Candidate Profile:

High oral and written communication skills. Ability to provide expert advice and direction on HSE matters. Knowledge of OHS / WHS and Environmental auditing and reporting ideal but not essential.
