Perioperative Leadership Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on the role of Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of nursing, theatre technician, and support staff, overseeing the allocation of resources and ensuring smooth operations across 8 Operating Theatres, Treatment rooms, and Stage 1 Recovery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Clinical leadership and management of staff, equipment, and resources within the department
- Strategic planning and implementation of practices, processes, and services within the department
To succeed in this role, you will require strong leadership and communication skills, including negotiation and mediation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving. With previous experience in a Perioperative department and registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (AHPRA), you will be well-equipped to make a positive impact.
