Perioperative Pharmacy Leadership Opportunity

This position involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services across the perioperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimise patient outcomes by providing expert advice on perioperative and pain medicines as patients transition through the surgical pathway.
- Collaborate with the senior pharmacist in providing perioperative pharmacy services across various areas.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within the perioperative and surgical settings.
- Promote the quality use of medicines through evidence-based practice and improve medication prescribing and supply efficiency.
- Participate in service development, including contributions to departmental projects and research activities aimed at enhancing perioperative services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting, with expertise in surgical, medical, and cardiology specialties.
Strong knowledge and understanding of all relevant aspects of pharmacy services, particularly the ability to practice in accordance with AdPha guidelines.
Able to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment, with leadership skills and the ability to serve as a point of reference within a specialty area.
