Job Overview
Schedule and coordinate work orders to meet service level agreements in the Telecommunications industry.

About the Role
This operations coordinator role is responsible for dispatching work to a sub-contractor workforce and internal teams, ensuring accurate information and advice are provided in line with WMC processes and guidelines. The successful candidate will be required to maintain communication with sub-contractor groups, WMC management and NBN Co teams on complex or high-risk work orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work order scheduling and dispatch using Service Stream's scheduling principles and Unify activity scope.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to sub-contractors and internal teams on WMC processes and guidelines.
  • Liaise with sub-contractor groups and stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of work order progress and completion in Service Stream systems.
  • Reconcile work order dispatch to client files and internal records as required.
  • Educate and guide sub-contractor workforce on UNM order completion requirements to achieve KPI targets.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with EUs, NBN Co teams, sub-contractor groups, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Capture feedback and information from sub-contractors for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate ideas to Team Leaders and Line Managers.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry, experience working within a scheduling or work order management environment, and excellent communication skills. Intermediate computer skills are also essential for navigating various software programs. This role requires attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. An intermediate salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum is available for this position.
