Job Title

Develop your leadership skills as a Mechanical Engineer within our Maintenance and Utilities – Maintenance Services Team. We require two experienced professionals to manage a Mechanical trades team, working afternoon shifts.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance Services Mechanical & Refrigeration, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing maintenance and engineering solutions to enhance plant and equipment reliability
  • Providing guidance and supervision for Mechanical Technicians; overseeing maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods
  • Ensuring preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Investigating process, plant, and equipment failures, determining the cause of failure, and developing permanent solutions
  • Offering technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site
  • Nurturing close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Experience in a GMP environment would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems and knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
