At Amentum, we're seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Alice Springs. As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you'll be responsible for maintaining facility infrastructure and critical systems at OASIS.
This role provides a professional service in the execution of technical repair and maintenance of all assigned facility fire alarm equipment. This includes elements of planning, organization, coordination, scheduling, and resource management associated with the day-to-day maintenance of the facility's fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities- Inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire systems and associated infrastructure in accordance with applicable standards.
- Repairs and installation of associated fire systems and infrastructure.
- Programming of Notifier system.
- Work with operational and maintenance personnel to coordinate life safety system impairments as required for repairs, maintenance, and new installations.
- Maintain a complete and current working understanding of all relevant facilities infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
- Inspection of fire extinguishers.
- Instructing and training of site incident response personnel in the operation of the life safety systems as it applies to their duties.
$85,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
This is an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team and contribute to the safe and effective maintenance of facility infrastructure and critical systems at OASIS.
